XGMT 2026
The X-GMT (Xavier General Management Aptitude Test) is a university-level, computer-based entrance exam conducted by XIM University (formerly Xavier University Bhubaneswar, XUB). It serves as one of the admission pathways into MBA and MBF programs at XIMB and constituent schools—like HRM, Rural Management, Sustainability, Urban Management & Governance, and Business Finance
XGMT 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil the following eligibility criteria to appear in X-GMT 2025:
- The candidate must hold a three-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline and must have secured at least 55% aggregate (60% aggregate for MBA-UMG), from a recognised University
- Candidates who have secured the 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in their undergraduate program can apply directly to MBA-RM and the MBA-UMG programs, without having a valid CAT/XAT/GMAT/XGMT score. Along with the application, the candidate must attach a certificate from the Head of the Institution stating their position. However, the candidate will have to attend the Personal Interview round.
- Admission of candidates who fail to complete all the requirements for obtaining a degree before a specified date, will automatically be cancelled
- A candidate who joins a program in the University will not be permitted to sit for any examination of any other institution or agency

Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning (VA & LR)
- Verbal Ability : Vocabulary (synonyms, antonyms, analogies), Grammar, Sentence Correction, Para-jumbles, Reading Comprehension, Critical Reasoning
- Logical Reasoning : Syllogisms, Series, Coding-Decoding, Calendars & Clocks, Blood Relations, Analogies, Contextual Usage.
Data Interpretation (DI)
- Includes interpretation of data from Tables, Charts, Graphs (bar, line, pie), Data Sufficiency, Caselets, Data Analysis and Comparison, Venn Diagrams.
Emotional Quotient & General Awareness (EQ & GA)
- Emotional Quotient : Teamwork, Leadership, Work Ethics, Managing Emotions, Situational Response, Cultural Sensitivity, Personality Traits, Work Ethics.
- General Awareness : Static GK (Books & Authors, Personalities, Countries & Capitals), Business & Economy, Current National & International Events
