What is NPAT Exam?
The NPAT is a computer-based entrance test for admission to undergraduate and integrated degree programs at NMIMS campuses. It evaluates candidates’ aptitude in Quantitative Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Reasoning, serving as a gateway to programs in management, commerce, economics, liberal arts, and other fields. The exam allows up to three attempts within the testing window, with the best score considered for admission.

NPAT Eligibility Criteria 2026
To be eligible for NPAT 2026, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualification :
- Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board (CBSE, CISCE, State Boards, IB, etc.).
- Minimum Marks :
- BBA, B. Com (Hons), B.Sc. Finance, B.Sc. Economics, BBA (Branding & Advertising), BBA (Marketing Management) : 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics/Statistics as a mandatory subject for Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and Bengaluru campuses.
- BA (Hons) Liberal Arts : 50% aggregate marks (no specific subject requirement).
- BBA (International Business) : 60% aggregate marks; IELTS score of 6.0 if English is not the first language or below 70% in English.
- Candidates who failed 10+2 on their first attempt are ineligible.
- Candidates with an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma must have studied Mathematics/Statistics as major subjects for relevant programs.
- Candidates from Open/Distance Learning (ODL) are eligible if their institution is recognized by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
- Age Limit : Candidates must be 25 years or younger at the time of the exam. No lower age limit is specified.
- Appearing Candidates : Those appearing for their 10+2 exams in 2026 are eligible, provided they meet the minimum marks requirement upon result declaration.
Additional Notes:
- For IB/Cambridge candidates, provisional admission may be granted based on predicted scores, with final admission confirmed upon submission of the final mark sheet.
- Candidates with GPA/CGPA must provide an equivalent percentage from their board/university.
- A single mark sheet with all compulsory subjects passed is required; compartmentalized mark sheets are not accepted.
